Why you should play Manor Lords on Steam instead of Game Pass

As of the release in late April 2024, Manor Lords has been made available on several platforms. 

The city builder is geared towards PC players, so all platforms are available on Windows PCs. That means Playstation is out of the question, as is Xbox. 

However, the game is available on and included in the Xbox Game Pass for PC. Aside from that, you can get Manor Lords on the Epic Games store and GOG.com.

But, the best platform to play Manor Lords is Steam.

Steam has a bonus

That is because Steam has a great bonus when it comes to Manor Lords. 

Aside from offering both the Soundtrack and the Art book as extra downloadable content, Steam is the only platform that receives the beta patches ahead of release!

Where other platforms are still on the release version 0.7.955, Steam players can already install version 0.7.960 and 0.7.965. These versions have over a hundred changes and bugfixes when compared to the 'stable' release version. 

Extra Early Access

Steam players have early access to beta features of Manor Lords, which is currently still in early access mode. That means they have extra early access to features and bugfixes which are not yet available to gamers on other platforms. 

Compared to other platforms, Steam players have for instance:

• Better Archers
• Degraded Hildebolt performance
• Improved trading
• Improved farming
• Less ale consumption

All great reasons to play Manor Lords on Steam, rather than any of the other platforms!
