Ceramic are one of ten resources you can't produce yourself. Here is how to get them anyway.

In Citadelum, you can't produce all the resources you can see in the Resources tab of your Management overview.

But, all resources to play a certain part in the game. These are all involved in trade routes with other cities. Some of these resources are even required as objectives.

What are Ceramics in Citadelum

In Citadelum, ceramic is one of these resources you can't produce.

The only way to get it, is to buy it using a trade route.

These are all the resources you can't produce in Citadelum: ceramic, honey, cheese, olive oil, silk, ivory, papyrus, animal hides, spices and marble.

Being able to produce ceramics would require a clay mining operation, which is not available in Citadelum just yet. Who knows, maybe this will be added at some point!

What are Ceramics used for in Citadelum

In short: nothing. Ceramics are of no consequence in the game Citadelum.

They are not required by any level of Plebeians or Patricians to level up to a higher housing level.

They are not used by any of the missions as objective. They also aren't required for any production buildings as an input resource.

The only purpose they service, is to have trading agreements with other settlements and cities.

Which cities trade in Ceramics

You can trade for ceramics on different maps in the campaign.
