What you'll read in this post:
For almost every game you can play on Steam, there are achievements to unlock.
They're not good for anything really. It doesn't unlock more content. It doesn't increase starting resources when you play the game, it doesn't increase a soldier limit, it doesn't unlock extra buildings.
What you can do with achievements is brag to your friends. "Look at how cool I am, I killed 50.000 soldiers."
And if you are a collector, it might increase replay value for the game. Because there is no way of killing 50.000 soldiers in a single playthrough (one might assume), you are persuaded to play another round, and then another, and then another...
Steam Achievements for Citadelum
Citadelum has 19 Steam Achievements to collect.
Some of them are easy to get and will unlock during the regular playthrough of the campaign. Gastronomic Diversity and Merchant are prime examples.
On the other end of the spectrum, you have Barbarian's nightmare and Instructor. Unless you wiped all enemy legions off the face of the region map during the campaign, you might need to replay a certain level to achieve these.
Most of the achievements will unlock at some point during you playing the game. So don't worry too much if you haven't hit one yet.
